The state-of-the-art Heronry Blind at Shangri La allows visitors an up-close look at the birds nesting on Shangri La’s Ruby Lake. From this vantage point, visitors can observe the approximately 15-acre lake that serves as a temporary home to more than 17 species of birds that migrate here annually.
